"Cold
granite" by Stuart McBride: A police mystery yarn with many twists
in the plot, accentuating dealing with misery and fear and sheer
determination.
"Grave
talent" by Laurie R. King: A detective mystery with a first class
story line. More words from me would only spoil the story!
"Cut
to black" by Graham Hurley: This book graphically depicts the never
ending battle between the law and the criminal elements both outside and
within the policing systems.
"Vanishing
point" by Morris West: This is an excellent story involving a
sufferer of bi-polar disorder, how it affects the sufferer and his
family and friends. A real eye-opener into the trials and tribulations
this terrible affliction may cause.
"Fatal
flaw" by William Lashner: A story of a murdered girl, and how her
mysterious beauty embroils those who love her into a turmoil of anger,
revenge and ultimately disbelief.
"A Slow
burning" by Stanley Pottinger: This medical thriller is based on
future technology, much of which is actually already here. The
descriptions of medical procedures, together with a conflict of practical
mores makes this one of the few books I can say is difficult to put
down.
