The Christmas school holidays are close and again your local library will be offering Holiday Activities during December and January - see the dates above. Numbers are limited and places are filling fast so phone now to book.

 

The Hinchinbrook Shire Library pleased to announce that we are hosting " Reading Rulz", the summer reading program for children aged 4-14 years. The national program is designed to promote reading and literacy during the summer school holidays. Reading Rulz” has loads of activities that will engage and occupy young people of all ages in reading and sharing books, writing experiences, games, and craft from Monday 13th December 2004 through to Friday 14th January 2005 and it's all free! 

Each participant in the Reading Rulz” program will receive a summer reading club kit containing activity sheets, reading record, bookmark and stickers.  

There are lots of prizes for your students to win:

  • Vouchers

  • Bookmarks, stickers & comics

  • Book Prizes for highest readers in age groups

  • Invitation to a Presentation at the end of the program

  • Certificate of participation/completion
