Numerous locals and visitors alike enjoyed a Gallery full to the brim with local Art and Craft. Months of preparation by volunteers from the Hinchinbrook Arts community encouraged locals to come out of the closet and display their creations. The variety was endless and the skill was obvious for all to see.

A wonderful exhibition of entries were received in the Hinchinbrook Acquisitive art Competition again this year. Many entries were received from local artists and competition was stiff. Still life, landscapes photography, pottery, youth art, mixed media, pen and ink pastels and miniatures filled Gallery Hinchinbrook with a cavalcade of creativity. Prizes were given and all artists were encouraged by the judge Dr Robert Preston. Very pleasing to all was that a local artist Lyn Bagley took out the major prize. Congratulations all.
