News of Art happenings and local artists!

ART WORK CREATED FOR THE LIBRARY
During two weeks of September Jo Brooker, Brisbane based professional artist, led a workshop to design and create an art piece to be hung in the Ingham Library that would reflect our community. Various interest artists helped at different stages of the project. Two however were able to help see it through and contribute to both the design of the whole piece as well as create a panel themselves. Amy Sailor and Peter Captain developed skills and confidence through this experience and are keen to pursue their artistic interests further.

The Hinchinbrook Shire Library thank all those who contributed to the project in any way, especially our financial supporters listed below.
