WINE AND CHEESE AND POETRY FLOWED AT THE INGHAM LIBRARY AS POETS AND LIBRARY SUPPORTERS ALIKE ENJOYED THE LIBRARY FACILITIES AND THE TALENTS OF OUR LOCAL POETS TO CELEBRATE LIBRARY WEEK 2006

TOGETHER WE SUPPORTED OUR NEIGHBOURS AT THE JOHNSTONE SHIRE LIBRARY, WHO SUFFERED CYCLONE DAMAGE FROM CYCLONE LARRY, BY RAISING ALMOST $200 WHICH WILL BE SENT TO THE JOHNSTONE SHIRE LIBRARY. 

THE EFFECTS OF CYCLONE LARRY ON THE INNISFAIL LIBRARY WAS VIEWED VIA A SHORT PRESENTATION SENT TO USE FROM INNISFAIL.

DONATIONS WERE COLLECTED AND A RAFFLE OF DONATED ITEMS FROM LOCAL BUSINESSES WAS CONDUCTED SO THAT SOME FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE COULD BE SENT FROM HINCHINBROOK LIBRARY SUPPORTERS.
