Over 50 Library Lovers enjoyed supper and a love story together to mark Library Lovers Day 2008! 

The Library was busy with friends and a few lovers (well long term partners really) making it a night out together.

In addition to highlighting Hinchinbrook Library and its services to the community, the Heart Foundation was chosen as a very appropriate charity to support through this event. The Ingham Picture Theatre supported the event by donating a proportion of the theatre's takings to the Heart Foundation and a raffle of Library Lovers products and the Cecelia Ahern novel "PS I Love You" was conducted to supplement this fundraising. Happily we were able to hand over more than $350 to the Heart Foundation as a positive result of Library Lovers Day in Hinchinbrook.
