Age

Age is a state we sometimes regret,

How old we are we would like to forget

Age like a story are pages of life,

Single or married to husband or wife,

When we are young we want to grow old,

Don't be in a rush by elders we're told.

We look for the weekends on each working day,

Our thoughts of tomorrow can spurn life away.

Enjoy what you have, hold no regret,

If you're reading this poem there's still time left yet

"that's life"

Cane Farmers's Lament

Rising costs and falling prices,

Governments with mean devices,

Sugar cane the country’s soul,

Joined by wheat and shiny coal,

Drains and drainways blocked by storms,

Can be cleared, just fill in forms,

Forms obtained from DPI,

Would make the average farmer cry,

Infestation in the cane,

Mainly caused by falling rain,

But can the farmer kill the rats,

No! says the rules by Government prats,

We must protect the weeds, the moles,

And anything in tiny holes,

We must protect the sharks and crocs,

Any tiny bugs that live in rocks,

But who protects this man of toil,

That gets our sugar from the soil,

Not the Government we say,

Or the people in their pay,

So life on earth is really great,

As long as you’re not human, mate.

Why

Being young with not much sense,

I thought I'd jump the garden fence.

Now here in a hospital bed I lie,

My right leg pointing to the sky,

In a cast from hip to toe.

Why I did it.

I do not know

Library/Libraries

An institution young and old, students, professionals or non-professional alike love to visit.

In research to gather more further educational information.

a few to mention, academics, archaeology, history, nature, adventures and many more important facts of world events; and Novels about love and romance.

Richly stored in this Eden place of books, magazines and novels.

Written by those famous intellectuals and world renowned authors.

Library in my personal point of view,

Covers broad resources of knowledge information,

Anywhere, everywhere in many ways defines.

Written or unwritten, Nature is the greatest author and Library of All Time.

Blissfully beautiful, in tranquil Serene Declaration.

My garden, my library around me.

Every plant are books that testify their unique stories.

Every flower, every leaf expresses divinity of beauty and love.

Exotic birds come to visit, sharing each their exquisite melodies.

My tropical like paradise garden, my classic library.

Libraries are treasuries of books, magazines and novels that contain a range of knowledge information.

From ancient times, present, modern to advanced technology.

Great inheritance passed down from generation to generation.

Thanks to those famous intellectual writers and world renowned authors.

More thanks to the Libraries' dedication to keeping preserved,

Books containing Treasures of Knowledge.
