gathered at the Ingham Library on
Valentine's Day to share a morning of romantic poetry, good food and
good company to celebrate Library Lovers Day 2007. Spirits were high as
local poets shared some of their own love poetry as well as some
favourites from the more well-known poets.
Both humours and sentimental poetry
was enjoyed by all. A particular highlight was the Mayoral reading of a
love poem penned by himself (his first ever) for his own beloved.
